The next meeting will be on February 22 on Business Succession Planning when we return to our regular location at Pulcinella, 6852 Old Dominion Drive, McLean, with payment at the check in table of the event. The gathering time starts by 11:30 and the presentation starts at 12:00, noon, or as soon as everyone is seated. RSVPs are required in advance. The topics for future meeting dates are in development. March 28 is expected to be what estate planners and trust administrators need to know about bankruptcy and divorce.
The cost is $20 by cash or check made payable to MEPC or McLean Estate Planning Council. The January 25 meeting needs to charge $30 for additional costs.
Annual dues are for the current calendar year and are not prorated. Applications for membership are approved by the Board of Directors. Dues for the years 2010 and 2011 were $20 but were too easily confused with the lunch money of the same amount. MEPC just had five significant changes in the last week of September which destabalizes any annual budget projections. Starting for 2012 the annual dues will be $45.
Parking in central old town McLean is limited enough to encourage arriving by 11:30. The presentations start at 12:00 o'clock noon. When we meet at Pulcinella, there is a strong need to have people park across the street at the Stay Bridge Suites which has been arranged by Pulcinella with Stay Bridge.
