Dues are $45 a calendar year and are not prorated.  Make check payable to McLean Estate Planning Council or MEPC and mark the memo line as "Membership" or "Dues" to keep separate from lunch costs.
Dues were increased for the year 2012 for among other reasons keeping the dues and the lunch checks in the same amount is an unending difficulty for the volunteers collecting the money at the meetings.  "Anything but $20" has been said by enough people enough times to be taken seriously.  The amount of $45 for annual dues is to cover future expenses.
